We have received a lot of valuable feedback from Tejpreet, Poom, Meaghan and Zi. By June 24th morning we haven’t received any feedback from Felix.
Our team has made some changes based on the feedback we have according to the below list:
Form Tejpreet:
- Update Home page post order to align to menu order
- Although we don’t require student to learn based on certain order of the resource. However, it would be good to make consistent between the blog content and menu
- Adding in text citation
- Adding introduction sentence to “The Origin of Traditional Chinese Festivals” post
- As Tejpreet suggested, adding introduction sentence to help student understand why learning this topic is important
From Poom:
- Adding overall learning content information on page: “Overview of the resource”
- Update “Learning Theory and Learning Design” page with extra content to explain the rational of choose these theory and design
- Update “Learning Outcome” in each learning resource module to help learner understand what they are expecting to learn
- It is very important for student to know what they will be learning before they start. Learning outcome will provide them the guidance while they are reading through the learning content
- Update ” Inclusive design” to ensure we explain the two different learner group that we considered
From Meaghan:
- Adding in text citation
- Adding instruction on the page: “How would modernization impact the way Chinese people celebrate the traditional festival?” to provide alternative way of participant in live event if they can’t join it with others.
- Adding introduction and index guidance on ” Learning Resource” page
From Zi:
- Update the content and structure of page ” What is the origin of traditional Chinese festivals?”
- Adding more details to the assignment for page: “Why is understanding the festival’s background necessary for cultural understanding?”
- Provide clear guidance for student would help them better achieve their learning goal
- Update paragraph to help reading on various pages
- Adding in text Citation
There is only one suggestion we didn’t corporates:
Poom has suggest us making change to our assessment plan to allow student understand what they need to complete. Since all detailed assignment requirement is already include each module. We only include summarized assignment info in our assessment plan. We also think assessment plan is aim to help learner understand why certain type of assessment has been designed in our design rather than repeat the actual assignment. However, we did added ” title” for each paragraph to help viewer better locate the information they would like to view.
